Walking the neighborhood

If you were wondering how’s a day in About Arianne you are not the only one. For the launching of our first collection at Lisa says Gah!, we were asked to know more about our daily life. Just like that, our friend and photographer Christian Colomer followed us around for a day to discover where we work and share some of our favorite spots around the area.

Lisa says Gah! is based in San Francisco and was created by Lisa Bühler when she decided to create a home for the artist of the industry, selecting special pieces from designers that are mindful about ethical production and use high-quality materials. We feel very close with their industry philosophy and aesthetic, so starting on February 2018 you can find their About Arianne favorites for every season and we’re very happy working together.

Sharing a day with Christian Colomer

We started the day having breakfast at Espai Joliu, a beautiful cafe, concept store and little garden, located in Poble Nou (this is the name of our neighborhood). Here you can eat many different homemade pastries, a fresh veggie lunch and share it with a delicious matcha or coffee. You can even shop some small cactus to your office!

Morning meal over, we moved to our studio – showroom, where the magic happens.  We show Christian our multidisciplinary space that works as our every-day office and storage room, as well as showroom for presenting our collections and organizing events.

One of the best thing about Barcelona is that everything is very close and charming, you can go through different neighborhoods by walk, and every time you can discover beautiful places you’ve never seen before. Close to our studio is La Ciutadella, the biggest park in Barcelona, a quiet place right in the middle of the city center.

We kept walking throught the park and ended up in El Born (one of the oldest neighborhoods in Barcelona). We visited Chandal store, a concept store where you can find objects for the modern life, from Polaroids, analogue film, publications to home decor objects and beauty products. If you’re ever visiting the district you can’t miss it!

Lunch time! We took Christian to one of our favorites: The Green Spot, a vegetarian restaurant in La Barceloneta, very close to El Born and Gòtic neighborhood. The Green Spot is one of many restaurants from En Compañía de Lobos group. Each restaurant from the group is specialized in different types of food.  At The Green Spot, you will not only enjoy the food, because the time put on the space, the design, the furniture, the nature and live music every Thursday makes The Green Spot an amazing place to enjoy with your five senses and surrounded with your loved ones.
