Déjà Vu
by Christian Colomer with Marcie Dvorak

Déjà Vu alludes to the past with its colors, textures and shapes. That’s why we decided to use for this collection materials that transported us to another era, like patent leathers, velvets and satins.

We shoot this collection in Cuenca, getting lost among the historical streets and the beautiful hostal we stayed for the night.

Art direction by Ricardo Sanfeliu.

The garments in this collection are from our friends Alabama Collect and Los Féliz Shop.

That weekend in Cuenca was wonderful, the feeling we had was as we were in the past. The cobbled streets, the smell of firewood coming out of the chimneys and the mountains surrounding gave us the feeling of another era.

The hostal where we were staying had a magical charm, it once belonged to Velázquez grandfather, and he used this place as inspiration for Las Meninas painting. It was like a dream.
